Asanov Shooting range.The Asian Clay Shooting Championship 2009 will be held at the Asanov Shooting Ranges, named after the great shooter of KAZAKHSTAN, Mr. Alexander Asanov. The Asanov Shooting Range has a fully equipped Club House which can accommodate more than one hundred spectators to witness this championship. This Shooting Range has already hosted the National Championship of Kazakhstan four times and also several Grand Prix competitions with the participation of many neighboring Asian countries, very successfully. The Asanov Shooting Range is situated at a distance of 30 km from Almaty city and 10 km from Almaty airport and has cafeteria and restaurant facilities that can offer light meals, lunch, dinner etc. at very reasonable prices. During the conduct of the Asian Clay Shooting Championship 2009, the Kazakhstan Federation Grand Prix 2009 will be concurrently held and the shooters of Asian countries as well as non Asian countries can participate on payment of separate entry fees for each event. Shooters of the Grand Prix will not be entitled to any seeding and the Grand Prix will be dealt as a separate competition. All federations are requested to send only proficient shooters for the Grand Prix so as keep up the standard and quality of Asian Clay Shooting Championship 2009. Same rules, terms and conditions and the fee structure for Asian Clay Shooting Championship 2009 will be applicable to the Kazakhstan Federation Grand Prix 2009.Technical RegulationsRange Equipment:There are a total of four shooting layouts, of which two are combined ranges, one of trap and one of skeet. The trap ranges are equipped with Matarelli machines and the skeet ranges with Nasta machines for the launching of clay targets. All ranges have electronic scoreboards including a FINAL scoreboard for the final range; all scoreboards are from Elettronica Progetti (ITA) for the display of results at the ranges and the Club House. | All training and competition shall commence from 0900 hrs. ParticipationFor the Asian Clay Shooting Championship the maximum numbers of entries in each event are 5 shooters per nation (3 INDIVIDUAL + 2 MQS) and 3 shooters for juniors per event per nation. Entry Fees and TrainingAll payments have to be made in Euros. Unfortunately, Credit Cards, Traveler Cheques or Bank Cheques will not be accepted. -Entry fees per shooter per event Euro 150-Team entry fee per event Euro 75 -Late entry fee Euro 50 -Fee per official and non-shooter Euro 50 -Gun license fee per shooter Euro 50 -Training per round Trap /Skeet Euro 7 -Double Trap (both Men & Women) Euro 14 Clay TargetsOrange colored clay targets (NASTA) will be used during the competition and orange colored flash targets (NASTA) will be used for the finals. Equipment Control.The equipment control will be conducted on the days of official training for the particular event by the Jury. The designated Jury will fix the inspection ‘APPROVED’ sticker on the shotguns and other equipment after inspection and these must not be removed till the end of the competition. Arrival in KazakhstanKazakhstan through its international airport in Almaty offers excellent travel connections worldwide. Air Astana (the national airline of Kazakhstan) has direct connections with many countries, whereas many other international airlines also hold regular flights to and from Almaty. Entry VisasDetailed information regarding visas and formalities for entry into Kazakhstan can be found in the website of the Ministry of Foreign affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, http://portal.mfa.kz/portal/page/portal/mfa The Organizing Committee will supply special invitation letters to all those nationalities which require a visa to enter Kazakhstan. Kindly adhere to the deadline for submitting the Final Entry forms, please. Arms & AmmunitionThe arms and ammunition of all the individual shooters will be first deposited at the shooting ranges from the airport and as per Government rules and regulations will not be allowed to be taken out of the shooting range. No arms or ammunition should be taken to the hotel. The physical verification of all the arms and ammunition imported into Almaty will be checked every evening. The armory will be opened from the official arrival day till the official departure day. Entry ProcessEach national federation entering the Asian Clay Shooting Championship must submit a preliminary entry to the Organizing Committee. The preliminary entry must list, all individual and team events by number for which the national federation would like to participate. The deadline is fixed as 15th July, 2009. Final entries must be forwarded directly to the Organizing Committee by fax, e-mail or online. The deadline is fixed as 15th Aug, 2009. Registration and PaymentsRegistration, payment of the entry fees, gun license fee, and payment of the hotels must be made to the Organizing Committee at the Shooting Range. The back numbers will is issued ONLY after all the dues of the nation are cleared regarding entry fee/gun license fee/hotel accommodation etc. Local TransportationThe Organizing Committee shall arrange the local transportation between the hotel and the shooting range during training and competition days at no extra charge for the participants staying at the official hotels. Participants staying at the official hotels not through the Organizing Committee will be responsible for their own means of transport to and from the range. Transportation from and to the airport will only be offered on the official arrival and departure days and this includes a stop at the shooting range to store and retrieve the weapons. The delegations must inform the travel desk about their departure details in advance, so that necessary arrangement can be made for their transportation to the airport on departure. Technical Delegate-Jury of Appeal-Jury-Range Referees:Technical Delegate: 1 Shooters Declaration and ISSF ID numbersAll shooters must have ISSF ID numbers allotted by the ISSF Headquarters. All technical questions will be resolved in accordance with the rules of the ISSF. Doping ControlThe Organizing Committee will conduct doping control according to the ISSF anti doping rules and regulations. Exchange Rates The currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the Tenge. The exchange rate of the Tenge to the U.S. Dollar/Euro as of May 20th 2009 is 1 USD=150 Tenge / 1 Euro=200 Tenge approximately. Gun LicenseAll national federations must ensure that the gun declaration form is complete and duly signed by the shooter and counter signed by the authorized representative of the federation stamped with the seal of the federation. Accommodation and Hotel ReservationsThe delegations will be accommodated at selected three, four and five star hotels in Almaty city, located at about 30 minute drive from the Asanov Shooting Range. The list of the official hotels, their rates and the reservation is enclosed. Ceremonies:The Opening Ceremony / Closing CeremonyThe opening/closing ceremonies will take place on the 22nd/29th of September 2009 at the Asanov Shooting Range and all participating federations are kindly requested to attend (details upon arrival). Award CeremonyThere will be five award ceremonies, i.e. on the 23rd, 24th 26th 28th and 29th of September 2009. These functions are expected be well attended by the prominent citizens of Almaty, and sports lovers of Kazakhstan. Internet, Telephone and faxInternet, telephone and Fax facilities will be available at the ranges and the Official Hotels. Wi-Fi Internet will be available in the Club House at the Ranges. Flags and AnthemsAll delegations must bring along with them 2 National Flags and their National Anthem (instrumental) for the Award ceremonies. These will be returned after the championship. Media Relations and Publicity. Media facilities will be available on site. The championship will be covered by Local, National as well as International Media. Medical ServicesDuring the competition the Organizing Committee will provide standby first-aid facility. In case of any emergencies, there will be a medical doctor on call. These facilities will be available at the Dope Control Centre. Weather InformationDuring the period of competitions the temperature in Almaty is expected to be between 23/20C on the higher side and 10/8C on the lower side decreasing by the day and with a clear sky. AmmunitionThe following international brands of ammunition will be available on sale: RC4 € 13.0, Olympia € 9.0, Lellier and Bellot € 9.0, Azot € 7.5, Anna € 6.5 GunsmithThe Organizing Committee will provide limited service of gun repair.
